Yoga for me is more than an exercise, or doing tricky poses. Don’t get me wrong, moving your body is essential, and Yoga is fantastic for keeping your body agile and supple as you grow older.

But there’s more to it than that. Yoga is not simply doing poses, Yoga is a way to be.

In my Yoga classes I aim to help you remember how to:

  • breathe
  • listen to your body
  • move in alignment with what your body needs right now
  • know if you need strengthening, or lengthening (or rest!)
  • observe your environment
  • have fun!
  • and if you’re up for it, I can teach you those tricky poses I mentioned…

As a result you will feel more confident, connected and more grounded within yourself and your environment.

With time, Yoga starts to seep through and permeate the everyday, if you let it. It can shine a light on areas of yourself (physically or emotionally) that might otherwise stay in the shadows. It can help you feel like yourself again...

Yoga brings you back to balance, both on the mat, and in everyday life. All you need to do is simply open up the dialogue between you and your body, and listen... This is the first step in really living your Yoga.

Me too, I get it. As a mum, I know how it feels to be overwhelmed, under-slept, and stretched in every direction (and not in a good way!).

I know what it’s like to be so busy with work/family that one day you wake up and realise you’re no longer your number 1 priority. Or maybe, you only realise when you fall in a heap of exhaustion – been there too.

And I also know Yoga can help when you feel this way because it has helped me, helps me. Yoga is my compass when I feel lost at sea. It can help you re-connect with who you are, behind all the stress / busy-ness / bullshit of modern day life.

I have been teaching Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Restorative and Pregnancy Yoga since 2012 in Perth and Margaret River. My classes are fun, lighthearted and pay respect to the cyclic energies of the moon and seasons, as well as the cycles within the body.

I love to share how yoga can enable you to foster a deeper connection to not only yourself, but to nature, resulting in feeling more at home and at peace in your body & mind.
